Product Details

These Dell E5530 laptops are in excellent general condition although they all have slight damage to the lid / hinge casing and slight marks on the screen. They come with a 15.6'' screen and would be perfect for home or office use or anyone who wanted robust computing on the move. These laptops are not quick to boot up and but once booted run really quickly and very quietly through the Intel CORE i3, rd generation CPU and 6GB DDR3 RAM (which can be cheaply upgraded if required).

They are supplied with an original Dell battery and a charger / mains adapter with the battery showing good health but with capacity only running at between 55% and 70%. This should still give you around an hours continuous use. (please see details regarding battery health below)

The laptops have been freshly installed with Windows 10 Pro 64bit and have been licensed and registered. They also feature full built in WiFi, DVD Rewriter, eSATA conection, USB 3.0 Ports as well as 6GB of FAST DDR3 RAM. Overall, these feature packed laptops represent fantastic value for money.

Overall, these are great Computers and an absolute bargain and fully backed by CPR's Refurbisher guarantee. Once booted up they are quick enough to power through most tasks with ease.

Condition
The general condition if these laptops is pretty good but they do have some slight marks on the screen and they all have some damage to the lid / hinge / button area. This damage may include slight splits in the case but compomnents are in no way exposed. Non of this affects the opteration of the laptops which have been checked in detail. The BIOS is also password protected and cannot be changed. Please see all images which are of the actual machines and show an example of the condition which does vary.

Loaded Software
At CPR we don't beleive in loading loads of software onto a new laptop (AKA Bloatware). Instead, other than the operating system, all we install is a new version of the Google Chrome web browser. Office 365 Trial is a link to a clean download directly from Microsoft and can be installed if required.

Battery Condition
Battery life can vary depending on how the laptop is used. A laptop will always use more power playing a DVD or running a game than it does just surfing the internet or answering emails. To this end, it is impossible to be exact on battery condition and life. However, in order to help, we test and grade batteries for laptops by real life use in that once fully refurbished, all laptops are specification checked (which involves running software on the machcine for about 20 minutes. They are then checked for online speed for aproximately 5 minutes. Finally, browsing history and testing files are removed by means of other software. At this point, the batter percentage is checked and noted above with our opinion of the battery. On top of this we use software (batteryinfoview) to then verify this information and gain the % health. Hopefully, this will give you a good guide to the condition. Should you then wish to purchase a new battery, in most cases these are very cheap and so this can be done for extra life.

Before we dispatch any Laptop:
Safety and security is important to us and so before any computer is dispatched we will have completely cleansed all sectors of the hard drive including previous boot sectors thus eliminating any previously installed software. Following this, every computer is scanned at a deep level for all know viruses including spyware and adware. Then and only then, will a PC be reloaded with the appropriate operating system and refurbished ready for sale.

Warranty
CPR Offer a 3 month warranty with all Desktop Computers and Laptops over £100 and sold as refurbished. The first 30 days is a full parts and labour service with the remaining time being labour only. This is a back to base service with the cost of returning an item being the customers responsibility.
